How does DeskTime work?
In order to start tracking your time trough the DeskTime app, download and install the application.
Once the app is installed on your computer, you will be encouraged to log-in to your account, otherwise, DeskTime will not track your computer actions. DeskTime app is able to track:
- Website URL's.
DeskTime company owner and company admins are able to divide tracked applications into three sections:
- Productive apps (appears green)
- Unproductive apps (appears red)
- Neutral apps (appears grey).
Moreover, DeskTime app is able to detect mouse movements and the existence of keyboard inputs. If there are none of the previously mentioned actions for more than 3 minutes, DeskTime will go idle and time will no longer be tracked.
