How to introduce your employees to time tracking

The key to tracking time is to introduce your employees to DeskTime the right way. Here's a helpful video that'll show your team how they can get started.

How to add employees

Not sure how to start adding employees to your DeskTime account? Here’s a quick step-by-step guide.

1. Go to the Settings section in your left-hand menu.

2. Click on the Team Members tab.

3. In the Team Members tab, click on the Add team members button.

4. Add your employee data: name, email, team, and the DeskTime role you want them to have.

What are DeskTime user roles?

When you’re adding a new team member, you’ll have to select their DeskTime user role. DeskTime has five different user roles, each with different levels of permissions.
